Description
Pure Cow Ghee
Pure Cow Ghee is one of the best-loved cooking fats across Himalayan and Indian kitchens. It is made by gently heating butter so that the water evaporates and the milk solids are removed, leaving a clear, golden fat with a characteristic warm, nutty aroma.
We are a Sikkim-based brand focused on the traditional foods of the Eastern Himalayas, and cow ghee is one of our flagship products.
Why ghee is so widely loved
- It has a high smoke point, which makes it well suited to sautéing, tadka and gentle frying.
- It has a rich golden colour and a deep, rounded aroma that lifts simple dishes.
- A little goes a long way — a spoonful will flavour a whole pot of dal or a plate of rice.
How to use
Drizzle over hot rice, dal or fresh chapatis, or use it as the cooking medium for spices, greens and curries.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always use a clean, dry spoon. Ghee keeps well at room temperature; please check the best-before date printed on your jar.
